Installation Steps

Step 1: Your LG microwave oven should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and confirmation that it is entirely powered down should be made.

Step 2: The control panel cover should be detached by loosening the five screws with your Phillips screwdriver.

Step 3: The power wire harness found at the rear of the control panel should be separated and the panel should be entirely taken off.

Step 4: The four screws fastening the plate that holds the idle bracket to the microwave casing should be identified. Your socket wrench should be utilized to take them out.

Step 5: The plate should be extracted from the body, ensuring that other internal components remain undisturbed.

Step 6: The single screw that secures the idle bracket to the plate should be loosened and the old bracket should be taken out.

Step 7: The new idle bracket should be positioned in place and fastened to the plate with the screw.

Step 8: The complete plate should be reinserted back into the microwave body, ensuring it aligns properly with the other components.

Step 9: Finally, the plate should be fastened using your socket wrench and the screws should be snugly tightened by hand.

Step 10: The power wire harness should be reattached, the control panel cover should be put back in place, and the screws should be secured with your Phillips screwdriver.

Step 11: The microwave oven should be plugged back in and verification that the new idle bracket operates correctly should be made.
