Installation Steps

Step 1: Collect the Tools.

To replace the Whirlpool 4388575 EVAPORATOR OS1, the following tools will be required:

Phillips screwdriver.

Flat head screwdriver.

Razor blade.

Allen wrench set.

Pliers.

Utility knife.

Step 2: Disconnect the Refrigerator.

Prior to starting the replacement of the Whirlpool 4388575 EVAPORATOR OS1, the refrigerator should be disconnected from the power source to guarantee safety.

Step 3: Extract the Screws.

A Phillips screwdriver should be utilized to extract all screws located on the back and side panels of the refrigerator to gain access to the evaporator.

Step 4: Take Off the Heat Exchanger.

After gaining access to the evaporator, a flat head screwdriver should be employed to take off the heat exchanger.

Step 5: Eliminate the Old Evaporator.

Step 9: Verify.
