The Packard 40852 1/5 Horsepower 3-Speed Motor is used in air handlers or furnaces for homes and light commercial properties to move air through the system. The purpose of this upgrade is to change or improve the blower motor, giving a choice of three airflow speeds. The motor runs at 1050 RPM and gives 1/5 horsepower, so it is used with a variety of fan assemblies.
