The Bertazzoni 405170 Range Cerniera P/Forno S3D1 connects the door to the frame and allows it to move up and down. It is used to aid the pivot motion of the door and hold it straight off the hinge, which is enhanced by fixing the oven door and the front structure of the range at specific mounting points that create a stable pivot axis. It is mounted on the side of the opening of the oven with factory screws. It assists in keeping the door in the proper alignment and assists in the consistent movement.
