Step 3: Identify and Extract the Old Seal Gasket. After the panel and dispenser cover have been removed, the old seal gasket should now be seen. Typically, it is situated along the lower edge of the door. With a putty knife or flathead screwdriver, the old seal gasket should be gently pried up and extracted.
Step 4: Fit the New Seal Gasket. The new seal gasket should be taken and placed around the door's edge where the previous one was situated. It should be confirmed that the gasket is entirely seated, then a putty knife or screwdriver should be utilized to firmly press the gasket into position.
Step 5: Reattach the Lower Panel and Detergent Dispenser Cover. The lower panel should be reinstalled, followed by the detergent dispenser cover. It should ensure that the screws are placed back in their original locations.
Step 6: Verify the New Seal Gasket. Once the seal gasket and screws have been replaced, the dishwasher should be reconnected to power and turned on to verify that the new seal is functioning properly.
