The LG 3920DD3002B Dishwasher Packing Assembly prevent water leakage within an appliance system. It works by creating a tight barrier between the sections that are connected, and water cannot escape during wash and rinse cycles. It is located at the locations of connection points and fits into a series of grooves, and aligns with the adjoining surfaces. This system ensures proper sealing, facilitates effective water containment, and ensures consistency in operations by minimizing leakage during repeated washing cycles, and constant system operation.
Step 1: The LG Dishwasher is disconnected from the power supply and the water supply is shut off.
Step 2: The inner door panel is extracted by inserting a putty knife into the door's edge and gently prying it away from the frame.
Step 3: The old tub seal gasket is gently taken off.
Step 4: The size of your new LG 3920DD3002B dishwasher door tub seal gasket is assessed, with any surplus material being trimmed to guarantee a proper fit.
Step 5: Adhesive is spread along the outer edge of the new tub seal gasket, ensuring that the inner tube remains clear.
Step 6: The new tub seal gasket is positioned within the perimeter of the inner door panel. The gasket holes are aligned with those of the door panel prior to securing it.
Step 7: The inner door panel is reattached by snapping it securely into place.
Step 8: The power cord is reconnected and the water supply is restored.
Step 9: The dishwasher is evaluated by initiating a cycle. It is confirmed that there are no leaks around the door.
