Installation Steps

Step 1: The necessary tools and replacement components, which include: a Phillips head screwdriver, pliers, an adjustable wrench, a vent kit compatible with your LG dryer model, replacement screws, and an Allen wrench, are assembled.

Step 2: The power cord is disconnected from the wall outlet.

Step 3: The top of the dryer is lifted and the current venting kit is identified.

Step 4: The venting kit is detached by employing the adjustable wrench to take off the clamps that hold the venting hose. Next, the screws that fasten the venting kit to the wall's back are unscrewed.

Step 5: The old venting kit is eliminated and disposed of.
