Installation Steps

Step 1: The water supply to your LG washer should be shut off by disabling both hot and cold water sources. It should ensure that the water supply is turned off at the wall or floor valve, rather than solely at the manual knob on the washer.

Step 2: The washer should be disconnected from the electrical outlet.

Step 3: The existing detergent container should be detached by removing the mounting screws found on the top and rear of the appliance.

Step 4: The detergent box should be elevated from the washer and disposed of.

Step 5: The new detergent container should be inserted into the space from which the old one was extracted.

Step 6: The detergent container should be fastened securely by tightening the mounting screws.

Step 7: The washer should be reconnected to the electrical outlet.

Step 8: The water supply should be restored and it should be verified that there are no leaks.

Step 9: The new detergent container should be populated with liquid laundry detergent according to the manufacturer's guidelines.

Step 10: A cycle should be executed to confirm that everything is functioning correctly.

Please note, these instructions are served as general guidance and should always be utilized alongside the manufacturer's manual, if available.
