Installation Steps
Step 1: Your washer should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply should be shut off.
Step 2: The screws should be taken out from the top or rear panel of the washer using a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 3: The cover should be gently lifted and placed aside.
Step 4: The damper shock absorber assembly should be identified and the screws that hold it in position should be taken off with the Phillips screwdriver.
Step 5: The electrical connectors should be detached from the wiring harness located near the damper shock absorber assembly.
Step 6: The old shock absorber assembly should be removed from the washer.
Step 7: The new shock absorber assembly packaging should be opened and it should be carefully positioned in place, ensuring that all screws are properly aligned and tightened.
Step 8: The electrical connectors should be reconnected to the wiring harness and it should be confirmed they are securely attached.
Step 9: The screws that hold the damper shock absorber assembly in place should be reinserted with the Phillips screwdriver.
Step 10: The cover should be reattached on your washer and it should be fastened with the screws removed previously.
Step 11: The water supply should be restored and your washer should be reconnected to the electrical outlet.
