Installation Steps

Step 1: The Speed Queen 38008 HELIX is gently disconnected from the electrical outlet.

Step 2: The plastic timer housing situated at the top of the appliance is identified.

Step 3: The screws that fasten the plastic timer housing to the appliance are taken out.

Step 4: The plastic timer housing is carefully detached and placed aside.

Step 5: The new replacement plastic timer is inserted into the housing and fastened with the screws.

Step 6: The timer housing is reinserted into the appliance.

Step 7: The Speed Queen 38008 HELIX is reconnected to the electrical outlet and the power is activated.

Step 8: The preferred cycle setting on the timer is chosen and the machine is initiated.
