The White Rodgers 36J24-614 Gas Valve HSI/DSI Single Stage controls the gas flow and assists the hot surface and direct spark ignition systems to ensure the burner will operate well. It is mounted on the gas supply line of the appliance and directly attached to the burner assembly and ignition parts. The valve opens and closes in accordance with control signals, enabling the ignition to occur correctly and the flame to be maintained at a constant level.
