The White Rodgers 36G22-254 New Gas Valve Hot Surface Igniter and Direct Spark Ignition 24V operates the flow of gas and also triggers ignition in heating equipment. It works by either a hot surface igniter or a direct spark module to ignite the gas that is discharged through the valve when electrical signals are received. It is mounted in the burner compartment of the furnace or heater, attached to the gas train and connected to the control board and supports, maintaining consistent heating cycles.
