The Whirlpool 358277 Washer Water Inlet Valve controls the flow of incoming water by opening and closing internal solenoid-controlled internal ports that are linked to supply lines. It functions on the basis of electrical signals of the control system permitting the entry of measured amounts of water into the washtub. It is located in the back water-entry area and is connected to the cabinet frame and hoses and internal routing lines.
