Installation Steps

Step 1: Disconnect the Dishwasher. Prior to initiating any repair tasks on your LG Dishwasher, it is essential to confirm that it has been disconnected from the power supply to mitigate the chance of electric shock.

Step 2: Position Towels Beneath the Dishwasher. To prevent any liquid components from leaking onto adjacent surfaces and causing harm, towels should be arranged beneath the dishwasher before starting the repair.

Step 3: Identify the Blower Cover. The blower cover can be found directly under the dishwasher door and is easily recognizable due to its typical white plastic appearance.

Step 4: Detach the Blower Cover. With a Phillips head screwdriver, the three screws that hold the cover in position should be removed. The cover should be gently lifted off.

Step 5: Attach the New Blower Cover. The new blower cover should be positioned correctly and fastened using the three screws that were taken out previously.

Step 6: Restore Power. With the repair finalized, the power source should be switched back on so that the dishwasher can continue functioning.
