The Frigidaire 3206453 Refrigerator Defrost Heater helps to avoid the collection of frost on the evaporator coils which provides effective cooling. It works by alternately heating the coils during the defrost cycle to melt any developed ice and permitting an adequate flow of air through the refrigerator and freezer compartments. This is controlled by a defrost timer and sensor and helps in keeping the right temperature levels and avoiding cooling problems.
