Product Description
The Frigidaire 318293814 Range Surface Element Switch regulates electrical power supplied to a surface heating element, allowing selection of different heat levels during cooking. It works by opening, closing and cycling electrical contacts in accordance with user-selected settings controlling the amount of energy supplied to the burner element. The switch is installed behind the control panel and connects to the control knob, wiring harness, and connected surface element terminals. It manages heat-output adjustment, coordinates electrical operation of the cooking element, and supports normal surface-cooking and temperature-regulation processes.
