Installation Steps

Step 1: The current element should be taken out. Beginning by loosening the two screws located on the element's back plate. When the screws are loosened, the back plate can be slid away and the element can be detached.

Step 2: The new element should be positioned. The new element should be aligned carefully with the range's terminals, then gently inserted into place. Should the element not sit flush with the back plate, adjustments should be made until it does.

Step 3: The element should be fastened. The two screws should be reinserted to secure the element in position, but overtightening should be avoided.

Step 4: The power should be turned back on for the range. Power should be restored by either plugging the cord back into the outlet or by switching the circuit breaker back on.

Step 5: The element should be checked. A voltage tester should be utilized to confirm that power is being received by the element. If it is, your repaired range can now be enjoyed.

Please remember, these instructions serve as general guidance and should always be followed in conjunction with the manufacturer's manual, if one is available.
