Installation Steps

Step 1: The dryer is disconnected from the electrical outlet and the lint screen is taken out.

Step 2: The lint filter housing is removed by loosening the two screws located at the bottom of the dryer.

Step 3: The top panel of the dryer is elevated and detached.

Step 4: The four screws securing the drum's outer ring are removed.

Step 5: The wiring harness that links the drum to the motor is unplugged.

Step 6: The drum is extracted from the dryer casing.

Step 7: The old drum tub assembly is detached by utilizing a screwdriver to take out the screws on its side.

Step 8: The new 3045EL1002P LG Dryer Drum Tub Assembly is inserted into the dryer casing.

Step 9: The wiring harness is reattached to the motor.

Step 10: The outer ring of the drum is refastened into the casing.

Step 11: The top panel of the dryer is positioned back onto the casing.

Step 12: The lint filter housing is reinstalled and tightened securely.

Step 13: The lint screen is placed back and the dryer is reconnected to the electrical outlet.

Step 14: The dryer’s functionality is verified by operating it on a high-heat cycle.
