The Frigidaire 297110400 Refrigerator Thermistor monitors internal temperature by varying electrical resistance in response to thermal conditions, enabling proper control of cooling operations. It is mounted in the refrigerator area, in the vicinity of the evaporator or air channel that it is connected with the circulating air, and is wired to the main control board via a wiring harness. The thermistor is set up as a temperature-dependent resistor with fixed feedback. It can maintain the temperatures at a constant point through the transmission.
Step 1: The refrigerator is disconnected from the wall socket and the water supply for the ice maker is deactivated.
Step 2: The thermostat situated on the interior ceiling of the refrigerator is found. It appears as a circular, black disc embedded in the ceiling, with two wires attached.
