Installation Steps

Step 1: The burner should be substituted by getting ready to disconnect the power supply to your appliance. All components should be ensured cool enough to handle safely prior to proceeding.

Step 2: The top of your appliance should be lifted, found at the rear. Access to the burner will be allowed by this action.

Step 3: The gas line extending from the gas valve to the burner should be identified. The gas line should be detached from the burner by gently lifting the burner out.

Step 4: The screws that hold the burner in place within the appliance should be taken out.

Step 5: The burner should be gently extracted from the appliance.

Step 6: The new Whirlpool 280119 BURNER-GAS should be positioned by firmly attaching it to the appliance with the mounting screws.

Step 7: The gas line should be reconnected to the newly installed burner, securing it with a compression fitting.

Step 8: The top of your appliance should be closed, making sure all components are securely fastened.

Step 9: The power should be restored and the operation of your new burner should be verified. If the burner functions correctly, the Whirlpool 280119 BURNER-GAS has been successfully replaced by you.
