Installation Steps

Step 1: The dryer's power cord is disconnected from the wall outlet. A screwdriver is employed to detach the back panel of the dryer and the current thermal cut-off fuse kit is found.

Step 2: With needle nose pliers, the two wires are gently extracted from the terminal block of the thermal cut-off fuse kit.

Step 3: The new 279816 Whirlpool Dryer Thermal Cut-Off Fuse Kit is positioned into the terminal block. The wires are fastened by twisting them around the screws and the screws are inserted into their designated holes.
