Installation Steps

Step 1: All necessary tools and components should be assembled. After the required materials are gathered, the power source should be ensured switched off.

Step 2: The drawer should be extended outward as much as possible without being detached from the hinges, then the Philips head screwdriver should be utilized to remove the two screws located on each side of the drawer.

Step 3: The drawer should be slightly elevated and the flathead screwdriver should be employed to carefully pry off the two hinge arms.

Step 4: Once the drawer is entirely out of the refrigerator, the wires linking the drawer to the rear wall should be disconnected with the needle-nose pliers. Next, the screws securing the drawer should be taken out and the drawer should be freed from the unit.

Step 5: The new Frigidaire drawer should be positioned, ensuring it is properly aligned and that all screws are firmly tightened.

Step 6: The electric wires should be reconnected, ensuring that each connection is secure.

Step 7: The hinge arms should be carefully fastened back onto the sides of the refrigerator, then the drawer should be secured by inserting the two screws on either side.

Step 8: The drawer should be slid back into the refrigerator and the power source should be reactivated to confirm that the drawer operates correctly.

Your Frigidaire drawer has now been successfully replaced!
