The Frigidaire 241726501 Drive Bar is designed to ensure the ice is dispensed from the bin to the glass in the refrigerator. This drive bar is used to transfer the rotational force of the auger motor to the ice maker assembly to turn the ice auger. When the ice dispenser is activated the motor turns the drive bar which in turn moves the ice flippers. This rotation causes the auger which transports the ice forward through the dispenser chute and into glass. Ensuring that flows smoothly and without any hitches.
