Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from the wall outlet.

Step 2: The refrigerator should be moved away from the wall and the timer-defrost located at the top of the refrigerator should be found.

Step 3: The two wires connected to the timer-defrost should be detached and the screws holding the timer-defrost in position should be taken out.

Step 4: The old timer-defrost should be removed from the refrigerator and placed aside.

Step 5: The new timer-defrost should be positioned by first reconnecting the two wires that were detached from the previous timer-defrost.

Step 6: The timer-defrost should be fastened in place using the screws that were taken out.

Step 7: The refrigerator should be reconnected to the power source.

Step 8: The refrigerator's power should be activated and the timer-defrost controls should be modified as per the suggested settings.
