The Frigidaire 218976901 Refrigerator Water Inlet Tube is used to send the water to the supply line and then into the appliance to produce or dispense ice. It is mounted either on the bottom of the refrigerator and is attached to the solenoid valve or dispenser system, which is in turn fixed with fittings. The tube is aligned to ensure the flow is correct and liaises with valves, sensors and dispensing elements. It allows the delivery of water in a controlled manner to facilitate the usual ice and water dispensing patterns, functional system, and stable refrigerator operation.
