Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to the appliance should be disconnected. Either the power cord should be unplugged from the wall or the circuit breaker should be turned off.

Step 2: The appliance door should be opened and any items that are stored inside it should be taken out.

Step 3: The screws located on the inner side of the door that secure the gasket should be taken out. A Phillips head screwdriver should be employed to loosen the screws from the gasket.

Step 4: On the outer side of the door, a flat head screwdriver should be utilized to detach the clips that are securing the gasket.

Step 5: The old gasket, which is typically adhered in place, should be extracted. To do this, a putty knife or similar flat tool should be gently applied for removal.

Step 6: The new gasket should be positioned by aligning it over the metal flange on the door. It should ensure that it is firmly secured using several clips.

Step 7: For the screws that were previously removed, the Torx T15 screwdriver should be utilized to fasten them back onto the metal flange.

Step 8: Any items that were stored in the appliance door should be reinserted.

Step 9: The power supply should be reconnected by plugging it back into the wall or turning the circuit breaker back on. The door may now be closed, and the appliance will be set for operation.
