The Fisher & Paykel 212336 Gas Grill Switch Igniter Snap-on triggers the ignition process by producing a spark to ignite the appliance. It is fitted inside the grill control panel area that connects to the electrode lead and to the burner assembly so that the spark can be directed. The snap-on provides holds the switch in place in its special housing and connects it to the ignition circuit and control knob system. It allows the normal ignition cycles and connected burner functioning during regular grilling operation by allowing the controlled spark activation during the startup process.
