The Speed Queen 202972 Washer Idler Lever and Belt Kit transfers the movement of the motor to the drum of the appliance. The tension on the belt is applied by the idler lever as the motor rotates, causing the belt to drive the transmission and agitator during washing and spinning. It is attached to the drive section of the washer, and it is installed between the drum pulleys and the motor in the cabinet. This kit would restore proper belt action and transmission.
