Step 3: Detach the front panel and the hardware securing the brace to the appliance.
Step 4: Unscrew and extract the current brace. It should ensure that any screws or hardware removed are stored securely for future use.
Step 5: With your snips, the new Speed Queen 200553 BRACE, SHIPPING-HOME UNIT should be trimmed to the proper size. After that, it should be fastened to the appliance using the screws and hardware previously removed from the old brace.
Step 6: Finally, the power cord should be reconnected and the appliance tested.
