Product Description
The Midea 17438100004285 Cold Water Inlet Valve is used for regulation of the cold water supply to the washing machine and is fitted with an electric solenoid that opens and closes the valve depending on signals received from the control board of the machine. During the wash cycle, the solenoid gets an electrical current and opens the valve to let water into the drum at the desired pressure. When the required level of water is attained, the current ceases and the valve is closed to avoid the excess flow of water.
