The Frigidaire 154252701 Dishwasher Drain Tap regulates the amount of wastewater into the drainage line of the appliance and keeps any debris out of the primary drainage line. It is placed at the bottom of the sump or pump assembly and aligned with the drain outlet channel and pump housing, and uses sealed seating points to provide controlled water flow. The trap will be installed as a part of the circulation and drain pump system to separate solids and outgoing water, and maintain clean drainage paths.
