Product Description

The Frigidaire 137513300 Drum Glide is used for the proper functioning of the dryer by minimizing the friction between the drum and the frame in the dryer. The glide is made to have a low-friction surface through which the drum is free to roll without any direct contact between the two metal surfaces. This not only helps protect internal parts from damage but also makes the dryer less noisy during its operation.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Disconnect The Dryer Prior to starting any repairs on your dryer, it should ensure that the power supply is entirely disconnected. The dryer should be unplugged from the electrical outlet.

Step 2: Take Off Dryer Back Panel With your flat-head screwdriver, the screws should be taken out from the back panel located at the lower-rear section of the appliance. After the panel is detached, access to the drum glide will be gained.

Step 3: Extract Old Drum Glide Your Philips screwdriver should be utilized to take out any screws securing the old drum glide. Once the screws are removed, the old drum glide should be pulled out from the machine without difficulty.

Step 4: Position New Drum Glide Your needle nose pliers should be employed to gently push the new drum glide into position. It should ensure that it is securely fitted and that all edges align properly.

Step 5: Reattach Back Panel After the new drum glide has been successfully positioned, the back panel should be secured back onto the dryer.

Step 6: Reconnect and Test Once everything is secured, your dryer should be plugged back in and a test should be conducted to verify that the noise has diminished.

Please remember, general guidance is provided by these instructions and the manufacturer's manual should always be used alongside, if one is available.
