The Frigidaire 137494000 Washer-Wash Plate is fitted on the inside of the drum of a washing machine, to assist in agitating the clothes during the wash process. This part is meant to spin inside the tub producing a tumbling effect that is effective in removing dirt and debris from fabrics. It is used by fitting snugly on the drive shaft at the bottom of the unit, where it rotates with the motor of the machine.
