The Frigidaire 137392700 Dryer Heating Element Assembly W/Housing is used to work through the use of electrical energy to produce heat as a means of drying. The switched-on, electrical energy is used to heat coils which in turn heat the air inside the drum. A blower or fan is then used to circulate this warm air to ensure that the clothes receive equal and sufficient heat to dry them up. The housing offers shelter and protection and keeps the temperature constant. Designed with a thermostat and thermal fuse to control heat levels to prevent overheating.
