The Frigidaire 137353302 Washer Lid Lock W/O Switch Assembly controls door locking and cycle authorization of the appliance. It automatically closes the door during the wash cycle to prevent the door from opening when the drum is moving and during high-speed spins. It is attached to the front cabinet frame and positions and connectors to the door latch. It is connected to the control system via switch contacts and is used to control the access to the drum and prevent the unstable cycle from working while washing and spinning.
