Installation Steps

Step 1: The washer is disconnected: The power cord is ensured removed from the electrical outlet prior to starting any repair work.

Step 2: The hoses are detached: The water inlet and drain hoses linked to the washer are identified. The hoses are separated from both the washer and the wall.

Step 3: The access panel is taken off: Depending on your specific model, the access panel might be situated on the back or side of the washer. The panel is gently taken off to reveal the interior of the washer.

Step 4: The old pump is extracted: The drain pump is found and the electrical wires attached to it are detached. A pair of pliers is utilized to take out the mounting bolts and the old pump is pulled away from the washer.

Step 5: The new pump is positioned: The new pump is inserted into the allocated space and fastened with the mounting bolts. The electrical wires are reattached to the new pump, ensuring they are secured tightly.

Step 6: The access panel is reattached: The access panel is replaced onto the washer and it is confirmed that all screws are tightly secured.

Step 7: The hoses are reconnected: The water inlet and drain hoses are attached to the washer and they are tightened using pliers.

Step 8: The pump is verified: The washer is plugged back in and the pump is checked by initiating a rinse cycle. It is ensured that the pump is effectively draining the water.

Step 9: Enjoyment is taken: After the replacement is completed, pleasure can be taken in your newly enhanced washer!
