The Frigidaire 136602910 Dryer Moisture Sensor detects the moisture content in the laundry during the drying process to determine when the laundry is dry. It is mounted within the drum assembly space, usually in the area of the lint duct or rear wall of the drum, where it interfaces with the drum surface and is connected electrically to the main control board by a wiring harness. Its work is the resistance-based sensing, transmission of signals, and detection of moisture between the tumbling garments and the control system.
