The Frigidaire 131777700 Dryer Bearing Drum provides support for the rear of the appliance drum and provides a contact point around which the drum can rotate when operating. It is installed on the rear panel of the cabinet of the dryer, the shaft or ball-hitch bearing connects with the rear bearing cup of the drum to stabilize the rotating drum assembly. It is designed as a support shaft with a bearing interface and supports the positioning of the drum to the drive system and the cabinet structure to ensure the rotation remains balanced and enables normal dryer operating cycles such as tumble rotation, airflow circulation, and heat-assisted drying.
