The Midea 12120100A17179 Dehumidifier Water Tank Subassembly contains a storage space where the moisture extracted from the air is held. It operates by collecting condensation which forms out of the cooling coils of the dehumidifier as it runs, storing the water until it can be emptied. It is mounted on the bottom or front side of the unit and is installed in the special compartment and is locked in to sit steadily. This position provides effective moisture collection, eliminates spills within the unit, and assists in the free movement of air.
