The Bosch 12013743 Refrigerator Fill Safety Valve operates the water flow that feeds the ice maker and dispenser system of the appliance. It works by opening and closing its internal pathways to electrical signals sent by the control board, which permits water to flow. It is placed at the back of the refrigerator and linked to the water line and wiring harness which makes sure it controls and maintains a flow.
