Installation Steps

Step 1: Prior to commencing, it should ensure that the power and water supply to the ice machine are switched off. The machine should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water valve that feeds the ice machine should be closed.

Step 2: The plastic cover from the back of the machine (or front depending on the model) should be taken off by unscrewing the screws that secure it.

Step 3: The pressure switch, which is usually attached to a red, clear blue, or black tube at the rear of the machine, should be identified. The power source is connected to the pressure switch via two wires.

Step 4: To detach the pressure switch, a screwdriver or nut driver should be utilized to disconnect the two wires while the old pressure switch is carefully held in place.

Step 5: The new pressure switch should be positioned into the same location where the old pressure switch was situated.

Step 6: The new pressure switch should be fastened to the bracket using the nut driver or screwdriver.

Step 7: The two wires that were detached from the original pressure switch should be reconnected. It should ensure that each wire is tightened securely and any loose connections should be checked.

Step 8: The plastic cover should be reinstalled using the screws that were taken out earlier.

Step 9: Finally, the machine should be reconnected to the power supply and both the power and water should be turned on.

Please remember, these guidelines are served as general advice and should always be used alongside the manufacturer's manual, if accessible.
