Step 1: Prior to initiating your replacement task, it should ensure that your refrigerator has been disconnected from its electrical outlet.

Step 3: A tubing cutter should be utilized to sever the water line and the old line should be removed from the setup.
Step 4: Your new PEX line should be trimmed to the appropriate length. It should be confirmed it is sufficiently long to reach your refrigerator without straining or kinking the tubing.
Step 5: The new PEX water line should be fitted into position. A crimping tool should be employed to fasten the connections securely.
Step 6: One end of the PEX tubing should be attached to the water valve located at the rear of the refrigerator.
Step 7: The opposite end of the PEX tubing should be fastened to the water line connection situated within the wall behind the refrigerator.
Step 8: The water supply should be reopened and all connections should be inspected for any leaks.
Step 9: After confirming there are no leaks, the refrigerator should be reconnected to its electrical outlet.
