The Scotsman 02-4599-21 Ice Maker Water Seal is a ceramic seal created to perform long with repairs to help maintain the integrity of your part by preventing water leaks in important rotating parts. It is ceramic in construction giving it a better deal of durability and wear resistance due to constant contact with water and motion. This water seal is placed in the evaporator or pump housing of the ice machine where rotating shafts go through the non-portable surfaces. The seal creates a very tight seal that does not allow water to escape in the process of producing ice even during the on-going process.
