The Goodman Distribution Inc. 0130F00504 Air Pressure Switch SPST-0.60 WC is a negative pressure switch in the heating system to make sure that the inducer and venting are operating properly when the furnace is turned on. It is installed in the blower or inducer assembly area and attached to the pressure-sensing tubing and the control circuit by electrical terminals to monitor the airflow conditions. The diaphragm movement depends on its positioning, which produces the movement of the activation of the switch and the transfer of the signal between the vent system and the control board in case the desirable pressure limit is met.
