The Goodman Distribution Inc. AC 0130F00010S Flame Sensor is a component that is used to detect the presence of a flame within a gas heating system. It works by generating a small electrical signal when the metal sensor rod is heated by a flame so that the furnace control board can verify that it is igniting correctly. The sensor is placed near the burner assembly and can be positioned in a place where it is exposed to the flame and attached to the control circuit.
