The Bosch 00652308 Refrigerator Resistor-Positive Temperature Coefficient is used to control the flow of electrical current in the defrost or temperature control system. It is attached to the circuit board or close to the compressor parts, and it increases resistance as the temperature rises to prevent overheating. This resistor is used to control current flow caused by temperature and assists in keeping the cooling performance constant.
