The Bosch 00643424 Range Door Seal is used to close the gap between the door and the cooking cavity. It works by ensuring that no heat and cooking fumes escape when it is in use. It fits around the edge of the door opening of the appliance and fits into the groove provided on the frame, ensuring a better thermal seal which in turn assists in ensuring internal temperatures are held stable and cooking performance remains consistent under normal operating conditions.
