The Bard Manufacturing 145753 3-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve is designed for use in R22 cooling systems and regulates refrigerant flow for better temperature regulation. This valve has a 1/2”-5/8” ODF connection and is designed to control the flow of refrigerant by expanding or contracting in response to the demand of the system, avoiding overfeeding or underfeeding. Operates based on the variation of temperature and pressure and controls the refrigerant flow to enhance heat exchange. This increases the cooling capacity, decreases energy usage, and increases durability.
