The Bosch 00144648 Range Heating Element produces thermal energy during functioning under the control of electrical resistance. It is mounted in the cavity of the appliance, often attached to the rear or bottom panel of the inside and is joined to the wiring harness at specific terminals. The element is programmed to turn electrical power into radiant heat, whereby the thermal output is distributed uniformly throughout the cooking chamber.
