Installation Steps

Step 1: The appliance should be disconnected from the power source. Either the power cord should be unplugged or the breaker at the electrical panel should be turned off.

Step 2: The front panels of the appliance should be taken off by removing the screws that line the edges of these panels. A Phillips-head screwdriver should be utilized to take out the screws. The detached panels should be placed aside.

Step 3: The interior of the appliance should be examined and the bin-frame should be identified. The bin-frame is a plastic component that is secured to the inner walls of the appliance with screws.

Step 4: A socket set should be employed to extract the screws fastening the bin-frame. It should ensure that the screws are kept in a secure location.

Step 5: The bin-frame should be carefully detached from the inner walls. If it is proved difficult to remove, needle nose pliers should be used to help loosen it.

Step 6: The new bin-frame should be positioned by aligning its holes with those on the inner walls of the appliance. The bin-frame should be fastened using the screws that were previously set aside.

Step 7: The front panels of the appliance should be reattached and a Phillips-head screwdriver should be utilized to put the screws back in place.

Step 8: Power should be restored to the appliance.

The Whirlpool WPW10494334 BIN-FRAME has now been successfully replaced!
